Braggin' on the Best

I, Andrea, have to take a moment to brag on my husband, Tim.

I learned pretty quickly upon meeting Tim that he was craftier than one would think. Take a good look at him and your first impression might be he is a guy in great shape, who loves the outdoors, and is always up for an adventure. However, dig a little deeper like I tend to do and you will discover Tim has many more talents than you would think or that he would even let on. On our first date, he told me very casually that he loved backpacking and sleeping in a hammock. Oh yeah, and that he hand-sewed his hammock! I was amazed. Never would I have thought…but he did all the research needed to know exactly what materials made the best, lightest-weight hammock and went to work!

I am so thankful that he carried this gift and aspiration to create over to our business. “Create” in the sense of wedding films, yes; but in addition to the production of films, Tim has made our lives insanely easy from this past genius creation of his. The internet spurred his idea of this creation, but his own implementations made this creation Barefoot Film’s very own charging station.

Made out of a glass-looking type of plastic that I’m sure has a technical name that I currently don’t know, stained wood, and heavy-duty Velcro, Tim put together this charging station for every battery needed to run every type of gear we own. Instead of scrambling to charge endless batteries with the outlets in our apartment, everything is able to be plugged in and charging at the same time. Boo-yah! Major points for Tim!
